Our Mission

Built for Factories That Can’t Afford to Stop

Why Western manufacturing software fails on African production floors — and how we are building the alternative.

The Reality on the Ground

Most manufacturing planning software assumes a predictable environment: stable power grids, constant FX rates, reliable local suppliers, and seamless high-speed internet.

But if you are managing a factory in Lagos, Nairobi, or Accra, that predictability does not exist. Power outages force sudden switches to diesel generators, exchange rate fluctuations spike raw material costs overnight, and custom backlogs delay crucial shipments.

When these disruptions hit, legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) databases crash or become obsolete. Planners are forced to revert to manual, error-prone spreadsheets, spending hours re-arranging Gantt timelines by hand.

The Optivyz Origin

Optivyz was founded to build operational intelligence designed explicitly for these realities. Instead of treating volatility as an edge case, we built it into the core of our constraint engine.

Our scheduler understands generator cut-over periods, power peak tariff hours, and foreign currency swings. By making scheduling dynamic, constraint-aware, and offline-resilient, we protect line throughput and margins when floor realities shift.
